Brian Morgan

Brian Morgan studied printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design and at Emily Carr in Vancouver. At Emily Carr he was introduced to the letterpress and has been interested in typography ever since.

Mr. Morgan worked for seven years as a bookseller with Duthie Books in Vancouver, before joining Digitopolis as a graphic designer. He served a brief stint as a designer at Saturday Night, shortly before its sad dissolution as a part of CanWest in 2001. He was the senior designer at The Walrus magazine before leaving to join Maclean’s magazine, where he is now the deputy art director. With Open, Inc., he helped design Dose for CanWest and, with Antonio De Luca, he currently designs C Magazine.
