Catherine A. Jenner
Catherine A. Jenner has been with the Montreal office of Stikeman Elliott LLP since 1994 as head corporate legal researcher, having previously been in private practice in Toronto. She has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, particularly issues of directors’ responsibility and corporate governance. Her practice also comprises issues of administrative law, constitutional law, contract law, private international law, derivative products, language legislation and consumer law. She is associate editor and co-author of Executive Employment Law (LexisNexis Canada, looseleaf) as well as contributing author to Executives and Managers: Their Rights & Duties (Butterworths, 1997); Williams & Rhodes Canadian Law of Landlord and Tenant (Carswell, looseleaf) and Fraudulent Conveyances and Preferences (Thomson, looseleaf). She is a co-founder and member of the Executive of the Research section of the Canadian Bar Association (Quebec division) for whom she has delivered several conferences. Ms. Jenner has common and civil law degrees from the University of Toronto and Université de Montréal respectively.
