Corrie Elizabeth Young has spent the past three years working as the Executive Assistant to the Rector and an Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of Arts, Media and Social Sciences at the National University of Rwanda. Corrie holds a Bachelors degree in Human Geography from the University of Alberta and a Masters degree in Human Security and Peacebuilding from Royal Roads University. Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Corrie has extensive management experience in a wide array of areas including, office, project, and restaurant and event management. Corrie is also a skilled researcher, both desk and field based, with experience in research on the socioeconomic effects of natural resource extraction and transitional justice in a post conflict environment.
