AUF

AHED will be working closely with l’Agence universitaire de la francophone (AUF) to develop joint placements that further the goals of both organizations. AUF is a multilateral organization that fosters cooperation and solidarity among francophone universities and contributes to the development of higher education and research. AUF has 659 members consisting of public and private universities, research centres, and institutes and networks connected to higher education. Its members are drawn from institutions in countries that are members of l’Organisation internationale de la Francophonie and other institutions that wish to be associated with the francophone world. AUF’s mission is to promote cooperation among its members and to promote the development of higher education and research. AHED will collaborate with AUF to run joint placements with institutions that are members of AUF.

If you are a candidate for volunteer positions for joint placements, you must first apply to and qualify for service with AHED. Your application will then be reviewed by and must meet the requirements of AUF. Successful applicants for AHED/AUF joint placements will receive financial support from AUF and will be accountable to both organizations. Applicants for AHED/AUF placements, who are current faculty members, must be faculty members at institutions of higher education that are members of AUF. This does not apply to retirees, who need not be academics or have had a position at an institution that is a member of AUF. Applicants for AHED/AUF placements must be francophones.
