AHED – UPESED will be working closely with CUSO - VSO (CUSO - VSO) to develop joint projects that further the goals of both organizations. CUSO - VSO is an NGO whose mission is to advance education and alleviate poverty in the developing world. CUSO - VSO is part of a federation, VSO International, an NGO that helps fight poverty by sending volunteers to work in the developing world in over thirty countries.

Joint projects with CUSO - VSO will primarily be in those countries where CUSO - VSO works on education, but also in countries where CUSO - VSO is involved in areas other than education, if AHED - UPESED’s projects fit with CUSO - VSO’s goals there.

If you are a candidate for volunteer positions for joint projects, you must first apply to and qualify for service with AHED – UPESED. Your applications will then be reviewed by and must meet the requirements of CUSO - VSO.

Successful applicants for AHED – UPESED/CUSO - VSO joint projects will receive training and financial support from CUSO - VSO and will be accountable to both organizations.
